Describe the suggestion
Changes the wheel sounds to be based off of the track instead of the rolling stock. When you are riding a train it does not sound the same on different track types. When you go from a tunnel to and elevated structure there is an an immediate sound change. Trains in tunnels do not sound the same as they do outside. Trains do not sound the same on muffling tracks as they do on non-muffling tracks. Take subway trains for example, there is lots of track way variation and when a train goes from a tunnel to an elevated structure you immediately notice the difference between the track sounds.
