Applications of the suggestion
To be able to have track simulate being more bumpy (more immersive), and also to simulate track joints being offset (more realistic). For joint offset, could set it to play at the halfway point between track pieces (for a 50m piece of track, having one joint at the start, one at 25m and one at the end) or a modeler defined offset, possibly in percentage.
