Trains can no longer be placed on slopes in recent builds

Describe the bug
Trains not placing on sloped tracks, floating, may not couple to other trains and get stuck, worked in previous builds.
How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the unwanted behavior:
- Go to ... MC 1.12.2 with the recent IR release candidate
- Do ... Place a slope twice the length of the unit
- ... place the train on the slope (not the transition), train car will float
Expected behavior
Train properly places on the slope
