Locomotive Control Augment Throttle Acceleration Inconsistent

Hi, I've been working on a completely automotive railroad for my single player world and everything has been working great so far. However, I've discovered one tiny issue with the locomotive control augment, specifically when it's used as a throttle. When changing the output of the redstone signal (etc, from 4 to 7) the augment is supposed to change the throttle output accordingly to control how fast a train accelerates. However, when using the LC augment, it bounces the throttle between two throttle outputs (etc, between 12-25%), making acceleration inconsistent as the values constantly go back and forth. This makes acceleration less predictable as once off the augment, the train either accelerates at 12 or 25% output with no way to make it permanently 12 or 25. I tried with the brakes and this doesn't share the same problem. I believe the issue is that the throttle is stuck between 9 values when accelerating (0,12,25,37,50,62,75,87,100%) while the brake can be applied at any number 0-100%. I'm hoping there is a fix for this to help automate my railroad, thank you. I can also attach video if the description is a little complicated.
