These functions are all for upcoming electric update. Most of electric trains uses Linear acceleration and have VVVF sound.
And btw if openable doors can come with that, I'm sure there will be more passenger car add-on packs.

Well, Vvvf is a sound occurs when electric locomotives start moving(or stopping). It occurs because electric frequency changes. Adding it (play it when starting train) can make the sound more realistic. You can watch some video about Japanese train starting and you will know what i'm saying.
