I'm up for the coaling tower, and the water tower if needed. but I would do em in the IR multiblock style as you can do more with that.

Instead of adding more pre-designed multiblocks to Immersive Railroading, players should have the ability to add their own machines for building track, locomotive, and car/carriage parts and for loading/unloading cars using a resource pack system. This would allow them to design and/or use whatever multiblocks are most suitable for their aesthetic and scale needs.

This system would require resource pack creators to specify the following:

-The exact placement and types of blocks needed to create the multiblock 
-Input points for items, fluids, and/or energy
-Output points for parts, as well as the type of part(s) the machine produces (if applicable)
-Loading/unloading points for items/fluids (if applicable)
-Crafting recipes and/or energy usage associated with the multiblock's processes (if applicable)
-The model the machine uses when completed with the wrench
-Model animations used during operation

ok, so. I've got a few suggestions here.

  • A way to blacklist existing multiblocks.
  • The possibility to add extra item requirements within all recipes the multiblock has. (for things like a "blueprint" requirement)
  • The ability to define machines that aren't multiblocks. (think IC2 machines)
  • And last but not least, multiblock "prefabs" for recipes. (so I could just copy over the recipes from the casting basin, for instance)
