Tracks visually disappear after unloading and reloading chunks

Describe the bug
I place the track blueprint and move away from the chunk to unload it and come back, only to see the track(s) disappear visually. I have kilometers of track and the problem seems to occur only within a specific stretch of my tunnel in the world. I have marked the stretch with Lapis Lazuli blocks in a screenshot below. The problem shows up not only in my game, but also in my friend's game.

How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the unwanted behavior:

  1. Place the track blueprint
  2. Move away far enough to unload the chunk
  3. Come back and see the tracks

Expected behavior
The tracks should have been visible.

Screenshots

A few hours later, the left side(the side shown in the video) no longer has the problem but the other side has the problem.

The space between the Lapis Lazuli blocks show where this bug occurs.
