Game crashes EITHER from train with too many cars OR too long a track segment is laid

Game Version: 1.14.4
Forge Version: 28.2.23
Immersive Engineering Version: 3.2.0
TrackAPI Version: 1.2
Immersive Railroading Version: 1.7.3
I haven't done the testing for which option causes the crash. Such a crash does not occur when the locomotive is just on its own and a short segment of track is placed.
