I seem to be having this same issue I believe. My switches in my yard are 10 in size and at the shallowest angle setting. Some of them work perfectly. I had one that was the same size as the others but 4 oil tankers and the fef kept splitting the points and derailing. I changed it to size 12 and ran around it a few times and it seemed to fix it. It was the only one giving me issues. Strange. Does IR take into account radius for bogies?
