It would be cool if you could actually select items like in HL:A instead selecting it on GUI

That's exactly how I imagined it.

Thinking on this more, I really like this idea, but I wonder if it makes sense to contribute directly to Vivecraft to cleanly integrate with their radial menu.

That way, it would be easier to add an option called something like "default radial mode", where you could pick it to either be the hotbar or your mapped buttons. Clicking while not having any of the items selected would swap to the other radial menu type until it's closed.

I'll talk with the Vivecraft devs about it when I get around to working on this issue, because I think it'd be a neat addition
