Looks like there's a different bug with inconsistency going on than just that, where the direction updating seems to "lag behind". Still implementing the above change, though

I think the fix for this to make the system more intuitive for everyone would be to get the direction of rotation based on where the player is standing relative to the block, rather than what direction they're looking.
