Wolves, Cats, and Golems Target Villagers

Issue (The better the description the better i can solve the issue):

Right now, villagers seem to be targeted by pretty much everything. I visited a village and discovered that the local cats were attacking the villagers. Then the golems started to attack them. Just for testing purposes, I also checked wolves, and they likewise target villagers.
After writing this, I realized that I could probably force these mobs to not target villagers in the config, but I feel that this should not be necessary. I could be wrong because the Curseforge page says that mobs (not specifying hostile versus passive mobs) will target villagers. I will say that this behavior seems counterintuitive because villagers can spawn golems, which means that they are spawning something that is going to kill them.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a world in creative (superflat works well)
  2. Find a village
  3. Likely there is already a golem chasing a villager around and attacking them
  4. Spawn in some cats, wolves, golems, and villagers
  5. Watch EVERYTHING target the villagers

Affected Versions (Latest is NOT a version):

  • Minecraft: 1.16.5
  • Forge: 36.1.16
  • TenshiLib: 1.16.3-1.3.0
  • ImprovedMobs: 1.16.4-1.7.7

Other Mods (If you think it might be cause of an incompatibility. Adding a link + the used version will help greatly):

I tested this with only TenshiLib and ImprovedMobs just to make sure it was happening.

Config file (via pastebin, gist. No uploading directly):

I have not changed the logs, but I can still upload them if you would like.

Make sure you didn't change this line to true:
#Treat ATTRIBUTES flags as whitelist
"Attribute Whitelist" = false

Hope that fixes it

So that was not the problem, because it was set to false. HOWEVER, it appears that when I originally added this mod to my prior mod list, the config did not load correctly. Upon resetting the common config, it appropriately added mobs that should not be going wild and killing everything. Not sure what produced this problem originally then (in terms of the config loading incorrectly).

I will self close this issue, and if anyone else experiences these problems, try reloading the config.
