With the Crafting Station being able to retain its inventory, it'd be nice if it could also access blocks next to it if they have an inventory so we could pull directly from them. Doubly so if the slabbed stations do get an update to be stackable in the same block (crafting station on a blast furnace to have on-hand smeltables for crafting recipes comes to mind).
