Whenever I use the furnace slab to smelt raw ores, food, logs, or anything else, nothing happens. Is there something I'm missing?

Can confirm this is a thing. Only the crafting station works.

The problem was not solved in the newest 1.18.2 Version (2.1.0) ?!?

Same problem, newest version. Blast furnance and furnance can't do anything. Would be nice to see it fixed soon

Can someone from this post their mod list at least so we can try to see if a mod incompatibility is causing it?
