how can i conveniently add mob spawn only for a certain biome or list of biomes? You can write out each biome in spawn.json , but i have about 100 biomes, so maybe there is a more convenient way.

Well you somehow need to specify the biomes. Maybe you can use biome tags or something? What type of biomes do you want the mob to spawn in?
