When using the Plant Gatherer to harvest trees, it removes an enormous area that is far larger than its specified working range. It even does so when there are no leaf connections between the trees in the harvesting area and the distant trees, and continues doing so even if broken and re-placed.

In this screenshot, you can see a semi-circle that formed due to the Plant Gatherer (which is placed close to the square field area near the green marker) harvesting too many trees. You can also see that there are no leaf connections between the trees in the field area and the surrounding trees.

Edit: I cleared out a larger area around the field because I thought that leaves from other trees being above the field area would make it think that it needs to harvest those too. After this change, it's still harvesting the larger area, even after re-placing it another time.
