I'm playing ATM8, and I have a 5x ore processing setup. When I have the fermentation station set to seal at 1 bucket, it still withdraws 400mb at a time if I have any tier 2 addons. It fails to seal at 1 bucket, and instead seals at 1.2 buckets. Since it does this, it voids 200mb worth of raw ore meat.

I expect that, if this feature were functional, it would either A) only consume 1 bucket, as it is supposed to, and leave 200mb behind, so that when it fills with 400mb two more times, it ends up with an even 1 bucket on the next fill, or B) it would produce 6 buckets of fermented ore meat and properly use all 1.2 buckets.
