if you place the cobble upgrade in the plant sower, there's only one block the sower is operating on.

but the 9 slots inside the sower still are assigned different spots, now 8 of them are completely unusable, only the center will plant something.

If you had a run of plants (different ones) you wouldn't be able to just lock the other slots and would be unable to automate a single block in this fashion.

otoh, having the ability to move the sower off center and put growth accelerators under that soil would be advantageous in a different situation.

Maybe make a upgrade to place in sower to make all the spots work for any space available?
