Unable to transfer items into/out of Black Hole Controller filled with Black Holes using Ender IO or Itemducts

When I hook up item pipes no items will transfer, I've tested putting a chest down instead of a Black Hole Controller and that doesn't work either.
My controller is filled with Black Holes and I have resources set in the slots and locked.
