When using a modular drill with range modules of any tier, using 3x3 mining or higher will delete the nbt data of the item, including block energy, which is very irritating when you have a Lazuli Flux container will large amounts of energy that just get deleted.

Grab a modular drill from the creative inventory, apply a range module, and mine a LF container with charge. The charge should now be gone.
