If it isn't to much trouble, it would be nice to be able to use this alongside Industrialcraft classic. I am trying to use this mod in a 1.12 expert pack, with full integration between Industrialcraft and Immersive engineering. (Yes I know the wires do not directly convert, I will use flywheels for that.)

The issue is that IC2 Classic does not register kinetic generators, but the kinetic generators are still needed to form certain multiblocks. Since they use the same-ish api, a simple alternative structure should allow flywheels to be used with the classic branch.
