1.20.1 Bookshelves do not have a crafting recipe

The bookshelves are my favorite feature of this mod. They are beautiful and fit the minecaft aesthetic well. I'm glad to have them in my world again. However; they do not seem to have recipes - or if they do; JEI will not show them to me. Tested in a world with only JEI and Inspirations to verify it is not an unintended interaction. Please assist; it is painful having bookshelf perfection so tantilizingly close and yet so far away.
They have recipes, and I saw them in JEI not too long ago. Are you sure you are using JEI and not one of the knock offs? I've heard reports that REI tends to break the recipes.
If you are certain you are using JEI, reproduce this issue with as few mods as possible, then give me a copy of your game logs in that setup.
Run using just JEI and inspirations. Proper JEI. Recipe key works with other items; no such luck with any of the bookshelves. I think this is the right file?
Okay did some further testing; just jei and inspirations (and mantle.)
Trying to press R over a shelf to look up a recipe offers to no result; but pressing U over slabs will show the recipe. Other blocks from inspirations nd from other mods work normally; but not shelves - though if I check uses from a slab and then select recipies for the shelf it will show the recipe. Getting a shelf in the screen through other means still won't show the recipe. Log added.
