Short description: Is it possible to remove the string in the search bar when right clicking just like JEI and other storage mods. Thanks!

When you right-click the search bar, it selects all text in it. This means anything you type will immediately overwrite all of that text. It's not the same as clearing the field like in JEI, but effectively it achieves the same thing.

What additional benefit would it have to immediately delete all the text, versus leaving it selected, keeping in mind that having it selected means it'll be cleared when you start typing?

I'm personally not a big fan on the right-click-to-delete behaviour.
Right-click-to-select is safer, since it doesn't cause deletion if you misclick.
I'm of the opinion that destructive operations should require more effort (right-click and a key press in this case).

I mean right click then spacebar does the thing also but with an additional step so not really a big deal. I mainly use this feature for when i want to see the whole storage when I forgot the name so i just search the entire storage for the item
