Short description:

I would like to be able to pull out the crystallized menril chunk (and block) to fully automate menril production, the following screenshots show the proposed workflow from a creative test world. Currently the Mechanical Squeezer will only push the fluid it makes into an ajoining tank (including the Mechanical Drying Basin) but no other output is able to be had. I can pull the input slot out but that's not desired. The output slots need to be able to be pulled from. No m atter how I configure the interfaces (using importers or exporters with the appropriate filters on them) I cannot pull out the output, at least not using the ID tools.

I forgot to mention, I am playing modded 1.20.1

The reason why it doesn't work, is because these machines require the output from the bottom, just like vanilla furnaces.

Also, in cases where you're limited to what side you can connect to the machine, you can always opt to use the side configurations of the cable connectors, these can be found in the part settings.

Since automated extraction works just fine on these machines, I'm going to close this ticket. However if you feel you still want to suggest changes to the existing mechanic, I suggest you create a new ticket for either the bug if it doesn't seem to be working as intended, or feature request if you propose to change it.
