If you don't have a mod like 'the one probe' installed along with the integrated dynamics compatibility layer for TOP then it can be difficult to figure out which part a variable card came from.

The part id is visible in the regular tooltip when you mouse over the variable:

But when you go to the readers you have on your network there isn't any indication anywhere (that I can find) that show the part id of the reader:

There is no problem if you have TOP and the compatibility layer installed as then the part id turns up in the reader's tooltip:

However, even in that case the tooltip only says 'ID:' when it would be clearer if it said 'Part ID:' as the variable tooltip does.
Also, perhaps the part id could be a part of the standard tooltip for reader parts, using the same 'Part ID:' description as the variable card's standard tooltip.
