Tool for re-initializing a network?

Short description:
Sometimes a network just stops working. No idea why and the only fix seems to be to break all the ID stuff for that network and then re-assemble it. I haven't been able to find log entries for this and they often go undetected for hours. This doesn't happen as often as it used to, but it still happens. (This may be specific to integrated tunnels. I can't tell. I usually use these mods to transport things and the issues are discovered when things start piling up.)
I propose adding some tool that a player can use to cause a network to be automatically reinitialized. When the tools is used, it should log who used the tool, their coordinates and dimension, and the status of the network before and after the rebuild. The results of the rebuild should also be shown to the player in chat.
With such a tools and associated logging, it would be a lot easier to track down log entries for reporting as well as allow players to continue their business as usual.
Wait, you need to break and replace all parts? Just breaking/replacing a single cable should reinit the network. Doesn't that work in your case?
It seems that way. I don't really want to have to go through rebuilding it so, for example, this time I just broke the cables and put them back but no luck. So I broke everything and put them back.
Generally, I try fiddling with or replacing something other. That's only ever worked in situations where the network didn't work from the beginning (doesn't happen all the time and seems related to build order) but it never works when a network spontaneously stops working.
Hrmm, this sounds like a serious bug then... And if a network-reset by breaking/replacing a cable doesn't fix it, then something must be going horribly wrong somewhere, and I would have no idea what that would be.
Could you report this as a bug, and provide any information you have, however insignificant it may seem?
I've been having the same problem with the mod in SevTech 3.0.8. It appears that the network will just freeze and stop responding to the world. We think it's when everyone has left the area and the chunks get unloaded (typically during excursions to other dimensions), so when we come back all the power is dead even though the monitors say they have some value on them. If we manually turn on the power they don't update, and turning off the override the system won't resume auto-control.
The only way that we've found to fix this is to either break and replace the cable that the Inventory Store is attached to, or in one case where something else was attached to that same cable, I had to break and replace the Store itself (until I got tired and moved it to another cable).
@qchronod What version are you using? If you're not on the latest one, be sure to open a separate bug report for it.
I'm sorry, I didn't notice that it was still running an old version (0.11.12) Could have sworn that I had checked it was on the latest, but I guess I was getting it confused with a different mod we've had strange problems with. I'll mention updating it to the host, so we'll probably do that in a few days. If I don't respond you can likely assume that this glitch went away and I just forgot about it.
It appears that the problem is gone on our updated test pack. Or its at least infrequent enough that we haven't noticed it happening again.
I am still experiencing this issue @rubensworks and i had to move and replace many interfaces and cables before it all started working
