Fluid Interface/Importer/Exporter not working with Cauldrons

Short description:

Fluid Interfaces/Importer/Exporter do not interact with Vanilla Cauldrons.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Place Cauldron and attach either a) Interface or b) Importer to it.
  2. In same network now attach either a) exporter or b) Interface to a second Cauldron or other fluid tank.
  3. Activate either a) Export or b) Import.

Expected behaviour:

Fluid Interfaces, Importer and Exporters to interact with Vanilla Cauldrons.

Versions:

  • This mod: 1.21.8-1.8.30-467
  • Minecraft: 1.21.8
  • Mod loader version: NeoForge 21.8.21

It looks like this didn't work yet in 1.21.1 either. Will push a fix in a bit.

This is not actually a bug. It's due to the way the vanilla cauldron works, why our tunnels cannot interact with it the same as regular fluid containers.

This is a feature request (also) tracked in CyclopsMC/Flopper/issues/26, that could potentially get implemented at Common Capabilities.
