I honestly have no idea which mod to blame for this, but using both mods (kryptonaught's inventory sorter if it wasn't obvious) causes the sorting to be more or less queued until you unpause the game by exiting the inventory screen. You don't get to see the results until you reopen the inventory screen.

If this isn't your bug/unintended consequence/problem, just lmk and I'll post something on kryptonaught's side.
