I am much more fond of this mod over inventory tweaks. However, most of the modpacks that I like to play are in 1.12.2. I'd love to see this mod backported so I could play with this in all my favorite modpacks.

I hate to be that guy, because as a modpack developer I totally understand why most modern modpacks are on 1.12.2, but in terms of my mod developer side, it's a literal pain in the ass to try and backport to 1.12. It's an outdated version and it's becoming time to let go of mods that aren't going to update. But, I totally see your desire to have it backported. I just wouldn't get your hopes up, you might just have to "put up with" Inventory Tweaks.
