trying to use the mod in a server spits back an error

steps to reproduce:
-install the mod on forge 1.18.1
-try to join a modded aternos server (note that the server doesnt have the mod added to its list)
-spits back an error saying "mod channel mismatch"

Requires mod on both client and server, as is well documented.
