When equipping armor via right-clicking, if the armor slot was empty, it'll equip the armor piece and immediately place it right back into your hand via the refill. If the slot was occupied it behaves normally due to the previous armor piece now occupying your hand.

I'm using the 1.21.0-1.1.4 version of the mod.
