If you have a chest with multiple different random enchanted books and you right click to sort, IT will place a book on your inventory, another in your cursor and not sort anything.
This is on a server and used to happen in 1.11 too with enchanted and named items

I also have the same problem.

Does this server have Inventory tweaks installed?

I'm going to be trying to do this anyway, but I only have so much of the picture. If you can, any help is verrrry much appreciated

The issue with sorting enchanted items is honestly the biggest issue with this mod for me, and I've started working on a fork dedicated to squashing it, but I'm really struggling to isolate the issue to reproduce it. Whatever you can tell me about the scenario it is happening in for you would be great. What I know so far is pretty small..

• On servers the issue exists, it is consistent - sorting always results in the item being held by the cursor
• The issue seems to only affect some enchanted items, I haven't found any clear correlation between them, it affects around half of enchanted books, bows & fishing rods on the servers it is an issue (Maybe only obtained from fishing?)
• On servers & items it does affect, the chest can contain any number of items, and the sort will still break
• The Issue occurs with no other mods installed

I have access to one server that it comes up on, but unfortunately when I copy it down to my computer, it wont reproduce. As far as I know the only differences between the two servers are OS (Linux -> My Windows), latency (It'll be faster on a local connection) and the world - It was too big so I couldn't copy it too, though I very much doubt this is causing it.

It would be great if we could get info about the systems it's occurring on too. Just in case something correlates.
