Your inventory is sorted when using the middle mouse button in a Refined Storage grid or crafting grid

When you press middle click in a grid or crafting grid to get an item, your inventory gets sorted.

Same bug as #500 (or a similar bug)? It was never resolved, though.

Used to work fine in 1.10.2 so something changed in either RS or IT - not sure which.

EDIT: I removed Inventory Tweaks and replaced it with Inventory Sorter which also uses the middle button click to sort. It is working fine with RS so this makes me believe that the issue is on this end.

Also, I tried disabling the middle button and using "R" to sort, but this causes similar problems in RS when trying to use the search box - i.e. any word I type with an "R" in it activates the sort.

I have a similar problem where the middle click is sorting my inventory but disabling the middle mouse means i can't fill buckets in the refined storage fluid grid. If it was just the sorting that was the issue then i would be happy disabling it but with it disabled i have to have tanks exporting all the fluids stored in my RS system all over the base so i can access the fluids.

It occurs to me that you could potentially set the Inventory Tweaks sort hotkey to something really obscure like Scroll Lock, which nobody ever presses, even accidentally. This way, your R key and middle click would both be free of the problem.

still a real pain in the neck, over 2 years later...

My biggest issue with this is that it also sorts the hot bar, ignoring the "D locked" setting.

I just stumbled onto this problem as well, in ATM 3 Remix. It would be nice if we could at least have an option to disable the IT hotkeys in certain UI's. That way, we could manually configure the mod to avoid situations like this.

I've got this problem in Dungeons, Dragons and Space Shuttles. Being able to blacklist certain UIs would allow users (or modpack authors) to solve it. Or is there some property Refined Storage should define, or some function they should call, to disable it?

Inventory Tweaks is my personal favorite inventory sorting mod, so it's a shame to see this shortcut conflict happening.
