This isn't so much a Tweaks issue, as a compatibility request, with reference to an issue that goes way back to 1.7.10 era:

Would love to see authors working together to bring back this feature

The issue on our part is that there is no official maven repository for it (that i know of). We will not add dependencies where we have to manually maintain a jar file.
We could use the CurseForge provided maven that is automatically generated from the uploaded files, but without any assurances that this is actively maintained by the author, this could break our build every other version (curse does some strange stuff and expects a certain versioning scheme).
