What happened?
I downloaded and ran Iris-Installer-2.0.4.jar. Install options: Iris+Sodium, Minecraft v1.19.1, install to default dir (.minecraft), not as a Fabric mod.
The installer reported success after a brief progress bar. When I launched minecraft, there was no new runtime profile to launch using Iris. When I instead ran my previously existing 1.19.1 profile, there was no option on the video settings screen to customize shaders.
When I looked in my .minecraft folder, I did see a few new files, such as an updated launcher_profiles.json, which contained references to Iris. I also found a new sub-folder iris-reserved, which contained two 1.19.1 jars. I also found a new folder under versions, which is screenshotted below; however that folder contained a 0 KB file named iris-fabric-loader-0.14.8-1.19.1.jar.
As of now, I don't seem to be able to use Iris.
Earlier in the year, I had installed and used Fabric, Sodium, and Phosphor without Iris on 1.18. These mods were still installed in my .minecraft installation when I attempted the Iris install on the newest Minecraft version.
