[Bug] Armors not rendering

Observed behaviour
Heres what armor looks like.
It's pink and black and seems to be a missing texture placeholder
Expected behaviour
Armor working
Steps to reproduce
- Download Mod
- Go into creative get armor, equip
- Look at your survival inventory or go in 3rd person
- Pink man

problem 2: optifine is not uninstalling
(im on mac)
Whenever i throw optifine away and then start up minecraft again, it automatically appears for no reason
