Major Bug 1.20.1 Forge - disabled items dropped by killed mobs don't despawn, and are never removed from servers

No matter what, any disabled item will continue to bounce if dropped by a mob upon death. The only way to fix this is by rejoining your world, but for servers, there is currently no solution. This is a major bug that needs to be fixed ASAP. I wonder why no one has mentioned it yet.
