Can't connect to multiplayer server with Jade client side only

Issue description
I only have Jade with the previously stated Neoforge version and every time I try to connect to a multiplayer server, it tells me "Connection Lost - Network Protocol Error" I included the log from that here too. Works perfectly fine in singleplayer as far as I can tell but doesn't for MP.
