Game crashes when placing lava/ectoplasm buckets with betrayed effect.

No matter the gamemode or difficulty, or if you get the effect through commands or naturally, the game will just stop working and crash when placing a lava or ectoplasm with the Betrayed effect applied.
The game crashed whilst unexpected error
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.world.InteractionResultHolder.m_19095()" because "interactionresultholder" is null
Exit code: -1_
