Game version 1.20.1 Forge.
When using OptiFine, the game crashes, in addition to Jade's Nether Expansion (and the required Elysium API), there were no other mods.

Optifine's closed source makes it difficult to figure out if it's an issue on my end or theirs
so this crash will not be fixed

if you still want performance I suggest using Embeddium
