As you can see above, with the Unique Nether Wood textures enabled, everything works as intended.
BUT:


When it is disabled, the planks return to the vanilla texture, but the stem remains with the Unique Nether Wood top texture. Both of the other nether wood types revert to the vanilla textures as expected, though.
