The following applies to the Survival inventory crafting square, and to crafting tables.
If one clicks in an area outside of the arrow, and then moves the cursor to the arrow before letting go of the mouse, the recipe tab will open anyway once the mouse is released.
Additionally, if one is moving an item with the mouse and then clicks the arrow, the item will be inaccessible until the GUI is closed.
