Pressing on an item doesn't give me the item in creative mode?

Thank you for reporting!
For issues:
- If the issue seems to affect only one mod, report to them instead of here.
- Remove NEI and FEI to see if they are causing the issue before reporting.
- If you crashed, please paste the crash log to gist and link it here.
For suggestions:
- Please do not suggest features from NEI. See this spreadsheet before requesting.

It looks like you're not using the latest version of JEI, you're using jei-1.18.1-9.1.0.41.
Try using the latest version, which fixed this bug: jei-1.18.1-9.1.0.44.
Oh I never noticed, thank you! I've just installed the latest version now
(jei-1.18.1-9.0.44) and loaded up Java and everything seems to be working
so far. Although clicking on an item in creative still isn't dropping it
into my inventory, I'm very used to the 1.17 version of JEI haha. In my
config options I have the 'give' option set to inventory but left clicking
on the item shows the recipe instead. Am I missing something again? Sorry
for all the questions I'm still new to the modding scene in Java
