How to reproduce the issue:

• Step 1: Favorite an item in the JEI menu
• Step 2: Mess with the item and creating additional nbt tags to the item
• Step 3: Favorite the newly edited item
• Step 4: See as the new item overwrite the original one.

Intended behavior:
The mod will try to register the selected item next to the original one, not replacing it entirely

Tested with shingles from Minecolinies.
