[Bug]: Joining a server directly from launch (by arguments) is not "the same server" as joining from Multiplayer List and causes Bookmarks to be missing
mouro001 opened this issue ยท 6 comments
Steps to Reproduce the Bug
- Add a server to the multiplayer list
- Join the server
- Add a few items to the bookmarks
- Close the game
- Add the arguments
--server mycoolserver.net --port 25565
to the launch command (if using Prism or MultiMC -> Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Set a server to join on launch) - Launch the game
Expected Behavior
The same bookmarks should be visible on the client
Actual Behavior
The bookmarks are missing. If you leave the server and connect manually then they will be visible again

Seems like this is a bug with a few mods because they use the Server Name as the identifier to save the bookmarks, unfortunately when using the arguments to join the server directly, there's no option to set the Server Name.
