[Crash]: my friend's game crashe whenever he clicks on a recipe (but only in multiplayer)

Steps to Reproduce the Crash
- open game
- join server
- click any recipe

for context, me and my friend are playing with the same modpack, on the same server for a month, but yesterday his (and only his) game started crashing everytime he clicks a recipe
