Suggestion

Please port this mod to 1.21.3? (Just for the record as I don't want to intrude on this mod for fun)

I don't know how hard it would be, I know 0 things about modding, but it would be awesome to have jei for new versions, as the alternative rn is really buggy

Not a single day passes by without me hoping to find the update on modrinth (prism-launcher) 😅
I wish i´d knew how to make it so i could force 1.21.3 to simply use the JEI - version for 1.21.1... But the game demands something matching 1.21.3
I simply don´t know what to change to make it work anyway.
Looking forward somebody will be kind enough to dedicate some time to it because imho JEI is loved by many and the chances must be quite high somebody has the knowledge we need. 🥲

ps: Can´t work with REI... recipes not showing up, not working recipes, lot of inconsistencies ... i just can´t use it.

I don't know the internals of JEI, but because of the recipe changes in 1.21.2, I'd assume it'll take quite a bit of work to port it.

Idk about any coding changes, but it’s fairly simple to change the required mc version for mods. I’ll try it rn for 1.21.3 fabric and if it works I’ll send the jar file. Or if there’s security concerns with sharing jar files I can show you how to do it

Looking into fabric.mod.json should have a like about the required mc version, but neither JEI not MEI have a line for that as far as I can see. Also looks like in 1.21.2(3) there were a lot of changes to the Rendering (GUI) which includes the recipebook which is why there’s no updated mod except for REI which doesn’t show the recipes unless you already have all the materials to craft it, which is the same as the native mc recipebook. So yeah, just gotta wait ig. Found this closed issue on EMI’s GitHub emilyploszaj/emi#785

Joined EMI’s discord and looks like it’s been in dev since Nov 3, not sure about any updates since then tho. EMI is very similar to JEI, but I personally like EMI better
