[Crash]: JEI crash on start up

Steps to Reproduce the Crash
when I press play on the minecraft launcher, it crashes a few seconds later and comes up with this message:
The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not execute entrypoint stage 'client' due to errors, provided by 'jei' at 'mezz.jei.fabric.JustEnoughItemsClient'!
Exit Code: -1
