Suggestion

Please improve the item selection interface - add tabs with grouping by mods in survival mode, like in creative mode, because the monolithic solid list of squares is very hard to explore, especially when you have a lot of mods.

I'm very interested in looking at what each mod brings to the game individually, whether it's worth playing, what items and opportunities it opened for me. But now to leaf through hundreds of pages of the same list every time to find the beginning of a new mod build discourages the desire to play, because there is no goal and you think that you have already gone through everything, but it turns out you could miss a whole layer of content.

JEI mod is very important for fans of the game around the world, and he has the opportunity to one update at the same time and make life easier for millions of players, and fuel interest in development in different directions with different modifications.

It would also be possible to add tabbed display by tags or other criteria...

This could probably be an addon to JEI but I haven't found one.
If you know what direction to look in to implement such a thing, I would like to look into writing an addon with such functionality, but I don't know where to start yet.
