Quark has ancient tomes which can be used to upgrade the enchantment stored in a book by one level over the normal maximum.

When JEID is loaded, these tomes don't work. They can still be combined with enchanted books, but the enchantment level doesn't change.

Echoing this issue. Any chance of a fix?
